IRELAND , Facts- Population.

 Above is the four Provinces of Ireland: Munster,Leinster,Connaught & Ulster. I have represented Munster in Mens School Soccer in  an Inter-Provincial Tournament played in Athlone on October 14-17 2010 & October 15-18 2009.
Above is a map of the Counties of Ireland. My own County, Waterford can be found in the South East region of Ireland.(#38) During my soccer career, I have represented my county in soccer under ages -12,13,14,15,16 & 20.


Population:

Just under 4.5 million live in the Republic of Ireland.
Munster is the largest of Ireland's four provinces. It covers a total area of 24,125 sq. km, (9,314 Sq M) one third of the area of the whole state. The largest towns in the Province are Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Tralee, Ennis, Clonmel and Killarney.
the county of Waterford has an area of 1,838 sq. Km. The last census in Ireland was done in 2006. At that time the population of Waterford was 107,961. That was made up of 45,748 in the city and 62,213 in the county.
